I’m not normally going to be posting pictures I took with photobooth, but I couldn’t resist sharing my grumpy cat with you.

You always forget something when you travel.
When my husband and I came to Boston to do house hunting, we also went and did all sorts of touristy things. We also forgot to bring a camera.

Perhaps my favorite shot I’ve taken at the USS Salem. It was taken deep down in the boiler room.
During one experiment, we used a green laser light grid and shined it down a hallway on the USS Salem that was known for activity. We were hoping that any movement in the hallway would be easier to see with the grid.
The Night Vision Goggles
It’s been frustrating not being able to zoom in or out out with the googles. Further more, they are nearly impossible to get clearly focused, so all of the images are just a tag fuzzy, although I feel it makes them just a little creepier. The pictures were taken in complete darkness, so you’re already getting a clearer image than what I had when I wasn’t looking through the googles.

And so this morning, I will continue uploading the back log of pictures. I have an interested set coming up next.
So, one of the things I do in my spare time is, to put it simply, be a paranormal investigator. To help me wander around in dark places, I picked up some cheap night vision goggles. The took photos as well as video, and I thought it was an interesting way to see the world. Now every time I’m on the USS Salem (a haunted battle cruiser), I try to snag a few photos. I think they capture the ship’s spookiness.

You may be thinking this was the most exciting day of my life.
But really, I’m uploading a bunch of pictures at once. I’m trying to get a whole back log of stuff uploaded so from here on out I can actually just upload things as they happen. I’ve got a few more rounds of pictures to put up, but I will probably work on that tomorrow, as it’s already getting late.

For our honeymoon, we took a cruise, and we did something I always wanted to do. I got to see Mayan ruins in person. It was amazing.
